The Story Partners are Mark Cook, Nick Couldry, Brad Bell, and Anna Bell. We each bring our own set of skills to the video revolution but we are all, first and foremost, fundraisers. We’re not a traditional agency. We don’t have attractive (or even unattractive) London offices. Our monthly overhead is next-to-nothing – what we save by being a small, agile and fast-moving team, we pass on to you.
Mark is former Director of Planning at a leading not-for-profit agency, and as well as Story Partners he runs his own consultancy, Moving Thinking. He is the strategic brain behind our operation, and focuses on fresh thinking and quantifiable results.
Nick is a creative powerhouse, one of the most respected fundraising creatives in the industry with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in control-beaters. He thinks fast, works fast, and turns a broad theme into a compelling proposition (and thence to a powerful concept) with frightening efficiency.
Brad has been making direct response TV commercials and web videos for non-profits for over 12 years. He is currently peeping over the leading edge of the digital film revolution, which allows charities to tell real stories from the field using the same technology and techniques used by Hollywood. “Putting film, fundraising, and the internet together is a revolutionary mix, that gives a small charity an equal voice to a big brand. The big difference today is internet media is conversational and charities have something life-changing to talk about, while commercial brands have got nothing but blemishes, bad smells, and car insurance.”
Anna is an award-winning copywriter and formidable conceptual thinker with over 13 years’ fundraising experience as both a copywriter and in account management. She’ll be your main point of contact, day to day. She is also, crucially, a respected knitwear designer.
